July 2016 - Unexpected charges

If you have a charge of $149 that you did not expect, here is what happened and how to resolve the problem:

Last year I included a free one year subscription in The Big Deal special bundle. At the time that you enrolled, you had to enter a credit card as the site requires it. The auto-renewal system is administered by the platform I use for my training site, and is outside of my control.

In an effort to warn everyone that their subscription would auto-renew starting in June, I sent out 4 reminder emails, and posted a video on my site. These emails contained instructions on how to cancel subscriptions. Unfortunately, not everyone saw those emails, so subscription were auto-renewed.

I am happy to refund the charge and cancel your annual subscription: just email me (dcross@dcross.com) with your name and the email under which your account was created. I will refund the charge and it will take a few days for you to see the refund on your card.
